100 years since the world’s first international regular service night flight
On September 10, 2023 Bucharest Airports National Company celebrated 100 years since the world’s first international regular service night flight, operated by the Franco-Romanian Air Navigation Company, on the Belgrade - Bucharest route.
The event took place at Bucharest Băneasa "Aurel Vlaicu" International Airport and brought together personalities from the world of civil and military aviation in Romania, who participated in the unveiling of a commemorative plaque. The presence of His Excellency, Mr. Stefan Tomasevic, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Romania, honored this anniversary moment by which we wanted to bring this success in the history of international aviation to the attention of the current generations.
